Trttvam ("we", "us", "our") operates the website trttvam.com and provides integrative wellness consultations, led by Dr. Sharon Samuel, in Bengaluru and online. We take the privacy of the people who visit our website and reach out to us seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us:
- Consultation requests. When you submit the booking form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, preferred consultation mode, and anything you write about your health concern. Because this may include information about your health, we treat every enquiry as confidential and handle it with the same care as a clinical record.
- WhatsApp and phone contact. If you contact us via the WhatsApp button or by phone, we receive the details you share in that conversation, along with your contact number.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data such as IP addresses for security and reliability. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and this website does not set cookies.
Why we collect it and on what basis
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, schedule and provide consultations, and maintain appropriate records of care. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form or contacting us. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or send marketing messages without your separate consent.
Who processes your information
Running this website involves a small number of service providers, each receiving only what is necessary:
- FormSubmit transmits your booking form entries to our clinic email.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
- Google provides the embedded map and the fonts on this site; loading these involves requests to Google's servers, which may record your IP address.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries any conversation you start through the WhatsApp button, under WhatsApp's own terms and encryption.
- Google (Gmail) stores our clinic email correspondence.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, the transfer is limited to what is needed to operate the website and communicate with you, consistent with applicable law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. If you become a patient, your information forms part of your clinical record and is retained in line with applicable medical record-keeping requirements in India.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold, correct it, update it, or erase it, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a grievance about how your data has been handled, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Rules. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website. Consultations concerning minors are arranged by, and with the verifiable consent of, a parent or guardian.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) with hardened security headers. Enquiry emails are accessible only to the clinic team on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission is entirely free of risk, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of any personal data breach as required by law.
